Captains Comment
We were a touch surprised to find that a 200 graded player was at the head of Richmond's second team but John Quinn coped admirably and won in splendid style. Lower down Ealing outgraded their opponents by considerable amounts and despite brave resistance form the Richmond guys, the victories started to flow. Martin Smith, I, Veljko Stanisic, Alan Perkins and Adrian Ociepka were made to work hard but all of us won in the end. Ealing had a set back on board eight where our Richmond adversary played with great assurance but we are quietly confident that Simon Randall's scheduled adjudication will go our way.
With two league matches left one thing is reasonably sure, Ealing will not be beaten on board count if the final match scores are level.
