Another event for your diaries is our annual chess talk which will be on Monday, 24th October this year. Lorin D’Costa has kindly agreed to give a talk. Although the topic has not yet been decided, Lorin will probably be discussing some of the interesting women’s games he has observed. (He captained the England team at the Chess Olympiad in India in July/August this year with our fellow club member Aga Milewska as a team member.) The entry fee will be £10 and all proceeds will go to the charity “She Plays To Win”.

N.B. Club evenings will be suspended in the main bar on Monday, 24th October (for the chess talk). Members will still be able to play in the smaller bar on these dates.
