The first match of the new season in TVCL’s 2024/25 season took place on 14th October at Actonians with Ealing C hosting Ealing D. Ealing D did surprisingly well considering the strength of Ealing C.

Jack O’Hare achieved a remarkable victory against Jagat Singh who is one of our up and coming members (and who was admittedly feeling under the weather). And the two junior members in Ealing D’s team both achieved creditable draws against much stronger (on paper) players.

I have great hopes for the new season where I hope more junior players will be able to take part in Ealing D’s matches.
