Ealing A got off to a creditable start to the season in the Hillingdon League with a 2-2 draw v Uxbridge at their place. Wins for both players playing White (Simon in an impressive squeeze in a Catalan and Hristo in a game which he seemed to be losing every time I looked).
Mark was out-graded and outgunned on top board, while Jason had a toe-to-toe battle with Colin Hughes in which he was fie until an endgame time pressure mistake.
